Merry Christmas! The site has been revamped a fair bit, the encode guide is now completely integrated and there's a new design throughout. Hope you like!

Two new DVD entries have been added to the Greek page. Although they are under the Zeo banner, they actually include episodes from the Alien Rangers saga. Strange design and strange choices, but as always thanks go to Muldy for filling us in and providing the cover scans.

There are some important releases we've been keeping for today. First up is our long-planned foray into Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad, starting appropriately with the Christmas episodes. More to come in that department. Also today is the latest supplement pack, #11, featuring a number of very rare and interesting pieces!

Having taken Resurrection into account, we've decided to number Wormhole as #34, and Insomnia as #35. It's not a perfect placement of course, given the direct continuation between Badge and Insomnia, but our reasoning is explained at Encode Guide > Notes from the above menu.

31st October, 2005

Having proved himself a committed member of the channel, DanSS has been made an op! Everyone please be sure to give him a hard time!

15th October, 2005

Things are becoming ever-so-slightly clearer. The "previously on" segment that mystified us before Impact is now known to refer to History, the first (in terms of story) DT-SPD teamup. Only Wormhole was produced between those two episodes, and that definitely can't be placed in production order, so we're assuming Impact follows History directly and will now be re-numbered to #32 so the episodes are in order and together.

Wormhole's placement is still undecided. Based on rumours, it will occur after the episode produced 36th, and will thus BE #36. However, this contradicts another rumour, that the two-part finale will be preceded by a lead-in episode. Unless of course the final scene in Wormhole counts as a lead-in. We don't know, we're going to play it by ear.

24th September, 2005

What a shambles! Today's release, Impact, is the second part of a two parter, and production #33, which presumably follows production #30, Missing. The two episodes which were produced between Missing and Impact (production #31 and #32) are the DT/SPD teamups (including Wormhole). So in terms of story order, we are provisionally putting Impact before both of those, directly after Missing's spot at #31. If this needs to be changed later, it will be included in an SFV pack.

18th September, 2005

Numbers again. Toon Disney is set to air Impact on Friday, which is apparently #33 in production order, but #29 in airing order. For the time being this, and the following episodes, will be numbered in their production order. This may be changed if continuity errors arise during these episodes.

5th September, 2005

Once again an entire season is being replaced from Canada's Family channel. This time around it's Lightspeed Rescue; beginning today all 40 episodes will be released in 175Mb encodes. As with Ninja Storm, it is important that as batch is released (twelve lots of three and two lots of two), all corresponding older encodes must be removed by all servers so that the new ones can propagate successfully.

31st July, 2005

Just to answer a reptitive question; we don't yet know what number the episode 'Wormhole' should be placed at in SPD chronology. As I write, we only have titles and descriptions up to episode #28. 'Wormhole' seems to be at least the second episode after that, so start at #30 and guess your way up. We'll correct the SPD SFV file with the right number when it becomes available.

30th July, 2005

I'm sure you all know about today's cockup in Canada that resulted in the premature airing of the second part of the DT/SPD teamup! CanuckRanger stepped up to provide us with the first encode of it, and DragonRanger's is due later tonight, so big thanks to both of those and welcome CanuckRanger to the encoding family at Blitzed!

While I'm here, the DVD pages have been updating with nearly all HQ images, the exceptions being the last NS Dutch disc and various unreleased discs. Thanks to the people who provided scans!

16th May, 2005

Another update to the Greek DVD page, this time two Wild Force releases, of all things. Once again, we have Muldy to thank for the nice cover scans!

12th April, 2005

Beginning distribution tomorrow is a complete new set of Ninja Storm encodes, in 175Mb XviD from Canada's Family channel! The torrents will be released in batches of three, one per day; please note that as each batch is released, the previous encodes of those episodes will need to be removed from fserves so that the new ones can have a chance to propagate.

1st April, 2005

We have a new op! You've all felt the benefit of thedessie's contributions in one way or another, so please make her feel welcome.

18th March, 2005

DVD pages again. The second NS DVD has been released in Germany with a surprising selection of episodes, according to the cover.

5th March, 2005

There is now a new DVD page, this time covering the recent discs that have been popping up in Greece. Thanks go out to Muldy for the HQ cover scans!

5th February, 2005

It's that time again, another new season! Snoopus created the first HQ encode of the SPD premiere, which is available on torrent in the channel, and doubtless other places have their hands on it by now as well. It's really rather fun, we hope y'all enjoy it!

28th January, 2005

People have been working hard to make the changes to their fserves as asked, so thank you all very much for taking care of that so efficiently.

27th January, 2005

More new ops! This time congratulations go to Stitch and Dragon_Dagger. They're already settled in though, so you can start giving them trouble right away!

24th January, 2005

Wednesday will see the first time we've released two encodes of an episode, where both are intended to be kept around permanently. Now, confusingly, both files are by the same encoder, and almost exactly the same size, and both will be torrented together. Meaning, that if people don't keep the default filenames when they put either one on their fserve, it can be confusing.

As such, we are now making it compulsory for all episode encodes to include the CRC in their filenames. This has actually been in the rules since September or so, but didn't come to light until the new site was made public, and hasn't been enforced yet, but its necessity in this case is a good opportunity to fix this problem. Too often we hear people complaining about not being able to find certain encodes, or not being sure about what is on someone's fserve.

It may seem like a lot to ask, but this is why we have systems like SFV in place. Just move the sfv file to the folder with the relevant encodes and double-click, whereupon it will do the whole job for you. Have a looksee at  Encodes  >  File checking - CRC, SFV and Zidrav  from the navigation menu for further details, including the program you need.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM an op.

19th January, 2005

Out with the old, in with the new! Following last week's purge, the first of our new ops has been recruited. You all know Snoopus, and the work he has done for the channel. Please make him feel welcome, and let him settle in a bit before giving him trouble!

Also, I got over my lazy fit, so the Dutch DVD page is now up.

15th January, 2005

The channel statistics are now listed on the site again, to be updated roughly every week. Although they will be removed again if people spam purely to raise their numbers.

Also, the DVD pages have been updated with details on the UK and German discs. The Dutch guide will be completed... well, when I'm not feeling so lazy, really!

27th December, 2004

Now that you're all no doubt flush from the holidays, why not invest in a few Power Rangers DVDs? Countdown to Destruction kicks some serious tail in digital goodness!

Take a look at  Other Information  >  Power Rangers on DVD  from the above menu for the Region 1 selection. At some point the list will grow to cover other regions.

Today, on #power-rangers!!!!

Welcome to the new site. It's here for lots of reasons. It has been created mostly to integrate the whole site more thoroughly, including the encode guide, and as an attempt to aid a little more cohesively in the rather arduous task of learning to use mIRC. The guides have all been expanded in varying degrees in order to accommodate for recent changes in the channel.

Granted, it's a little plain, but the new drop-down menu is rather fun, and the whole thing is organised far more sensibly. And it's got a funky logo!

The encode guide will open in new window, but apart from that, it's a fairly smooth experience.

Will you like it? Will we ever live it down? Will Rita's words match her mouth?

Find out next time, on #power-rangers!!!!
